Power apps Developer

APPIT Software Inc. is seeking an experienced Power Apps Developer with strong expertise in Infor LX/BPCS for a remote position. This role requires a minimum of 8 years of application development experience, with at least 3 years focused on the Microsoft Power Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven).
• Build and optimize workflows using Power Automate.
• Design data models and integrations with Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and other data sources.
• Implement complex business logic, validations, and custom connectors.
• Integrate Power Apps with Microsoft 365, Azure services, and third-party APIs.
• Ensure application security through role-based access control and governance best practices.
• Perform code reviews, performance tuning, and application troubleshooting.
• Lead technical solutioning, provide estimates, and create technical documentation.
• Mentor junior developers and offer technical guidance.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and architects to translate requirements into solutions.
• Support application deployment, monitoring, and post-production issues.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 8+ years of application development experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
• Experience with Infor LX/BPCS.
• Strong expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Proficiency in Canvas Apps and Model-driven Apps.
• Skills in Power Fx, JSON, and REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, security roles, and environment strategy.
• Experience integrating Power Platform with Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus).
• Familiarity with ALM practices and CI/CD for Power Platform.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Power BI and advanced reporting.
• Knowledge of Power Pages.
• Microsoft Power Platform certifications (PL-400, PL-600, etc.).
