Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and package medical cannabis flower and pre-roll products with precision and care.
- Maintain a high level of productivity by working efficiently and continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks to uphold and enhance product quality.
- Perform continuous trimming/manicuring and packaging of cannabis flower during shifts of up to 10 hours, prioritizing both efficiency and quality.
- Thoroughly clean and maintain all equipment, hand tools, containers, materials, supplies, and work areas in strict accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the trimming and packaging room while actively performing all assigned duties.
- Conduct visual inspections of cannabis during trimming and packaging to ensure unwavering quality control.
- Adhere strictly to established production schedules.
- Weigh and process waste materials in compliance with all state regulations and company policies.
- Execute the packaging of cannabis flower and pre-rolls.
- Accurately label products and record all relevant inventory data.
- Provide assistance with the harvest and curing process of medical cannabis as needed.
- Ensure daily compliance with all company policies and procedures, including state compliance, security protocols, and access protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and operations.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge and familiarity with cannabis.
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures and best practices.
- Demonstrate accountability, proactive behavior, and exceptional attention to detail.
- Possess a high level of integrity.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required; 1 year of experience in a related field is preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age or older and willing to submit to and pass a comprehensive background check.
- Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Physical capability to push, pull, lift, or move a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring prolonged sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, squatting, and/or walking.
- Dexterity to use hands and fingers for touching, handling, feeling, and picking tasks.
- Willingness to work with hazardous chemicals (e.g., butane, propane) while strictly adhering to safety guidelines.
- Proficiency in using cleaning chemicals (e.g., bleach) to maintain facility and equipment hygiene.
- Mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including clothing protection, close-toed non-slip shoes, and optional ear/eye protection.
