About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Hedge Fund Portfolio Accounting Associate to join our IM Operations team in Mumbai. This is a Sr. Professional position focused on providing critical transaction support, managing post-execution processes, and ensuring accurate cash & positions for traders prior to market open.

Your Responsibilities:

• Daily Reconciliation: Perform time-sensitive Cash, Position, and NAV reconciliations for Fixed Income accounts before trading hours begins in your region.
• Portfolio Oversight: Actively monitor critical investment activities across multiple portfolios and custodians to ensure proper settlement of transactions.
• Custodian Management: Oversee third-party service providers regarding portfolio postings, maintaining accuracy within our AIS parallel accounting system (Investran).
• Verification & Reporting: Reconcile valuations, management fees, performance fee calculations, and P&L components. Sign off on NAVs and monthly/quarterly compliance reports.
• Audit Support: Verify investor capital activity, balances, and statements; support product regulatory audits and offering document reviews.
• Process Improvement: Create or enhance processes to improve efficiency, raising service issues promptly with third parties until resolution.
• Leadership & Collaboration: Execute complex projects in a Team Lead capacity, recognizing risks, proposing process changes, training team members, and supporting first-line escalations.

What You Bring:

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years' relevant experience expected for this Sr. Professional role.
• Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of operational/compliance policies; familiarity with hedge fund accounting, derivatives, or Investran is a plus.
• Skills: Strong organizational and analytical abilities to summarize findings clearly; detail-oriented with high motivation.
