Platform Engineer

This role is crucial for advancing our digital initiatives, particularly within the Adobe Platforms chapter. As a Front-End Developer (FED) Platform Engineer, you will design and deliver enterprise-grade external-facing websites and portals, leveraging modern web development practices to create responsive, accessible, and high-performing web properties for HCPs and patients. You'll collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, drive business value through technical expertise, and contribute to a culture of skill growth and mission-aligned collaboration.

Key responsibilities include building and maintaining web UI components using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js), developing responsive interfaces with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, and implementing UI designs with high fidelity. You will integrate front-end applications with RESTful and GraphQL APIs, maintain clean and scalable code, and work with CI/CD pipelines and Git. Collaboration with backend teams on API contracts, error handling, and security is essential. You will also ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG), participate in agile ceremonies, and translate user stories into technical designs. Experience with CMS platforms, performance monitoring, security, data reporting (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics), and continuous learning are vital.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, 7+ years of front-end development experience with React, Angular, and Vue.js, strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and proficiency in consuming REST/GraphQL APIs. Experience with design thinking, user experience, global accessibility standards, and writing unit/integration tests is necessary. Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and Agile/DevOps methodologies is also required. Preferred qualifications include experience with software as a medical device (SaMD), Digital Health applications, Python for data manipulation, life sciences/pharma industry experience, and knowledge of authentication/authorization.
