We are seeking a Platform & SRE Engineer to join our Software Engineering team in Mumbai, India. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing scalable, containerized applications on Kubernetes clusters. You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments, and enhance platform observability using tools like Prometheus and Grafana. Collaboration with application teams to integrate services with robust authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, SSO, JWT) is key. You will also troubleshoot production issues, improve availability, and conduct root cause analysis.

This role requires standardization and automation of routine tasks using Python scripting or Ansible. You will support web-based deployments, including APIs and UI applications, and their configurations. Collaboration on system design, capacity planning, and performance tuning is also expected.

Required skills include strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker, a deep understanding of containerization, deployment strategies, and orchestration. Familiarity with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, alerts, metrics) is essential. You should have working knowledge of web deployment and component architecture, and experience with authentication/authorization mechanisms (OAuth, SSO). Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and comfort with Linux and basic SQL operations are necessary. Proficiency in Python scripting and experience with Ansible or other configuration management tools are required. Exposure to infrastructure as code (Terraform, Helm) and familiarity with cloud-native concepts and services are beneficial.
