Role Overview:
The Pipeline and Brand Analytics Chapter Member is a vital part of the Customer Engagement Excellence (CEE) team within the Value Delivery organization. This role focuses on driving analytic activities and delivering strategic insights and actionable recommendations to support brand or pipeline objectives. Working within a Chapter model and assigned Value Teams, this position emphasizes ethical decision-making and collaboration with cross-functional resources to resolve specific business challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute advanced analytics, including segmentation, adherence, HCP network analysis, and patient flows, to identify opportunities and inform brand/pipeline strategies.
- Provide context-based, actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Standardize and automate critical reporting metrics and modeling tools to meet brand/asset-specific needs and accelerate insight generation.
- Manage projects to ensure timely delivery of objectives.
- Develop and deliver ad hoc analyses to support evolving business requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and analytical capability innovation.
- Maintain proficiency in data systems, programs, and software (e.g., AWS Redshift, Databricks, SQL, Python) and develop a comprehensive understanding of various data sources, including HCP and consumer promotion data.
- Adhere to established standards, policies, and best practices, including data privacy compliance.
- Utilize agile approaches and collaborate effectively within agile ceremonies and ways of working.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related analytics field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in data analytics, with a proven track record in managing increasingly complex projects.
- Familiarity with coding languages such as SQL and Python is preferred.
- Working knowledge of statistical modeling techniques (e.g., regression modeling, ROI, machine learning).
- Ability to interpret data within the context of brand/asset and commercial objectives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience working with global or cross-functional teams is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to be highly coachable and thrive in an environment of continuous growth.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a quantitative discipline or MBA with a concentration in Marketing Analytics, Decision Science, or Analytical Finance.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Working knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or QlikSense.
- Experience working with global partners.
- Working knowledge of the Japan healthcare environment.
- Working knowledge of pharmaceutical data sources (e.g., JMDC, MDV).
Work Environment:
This position is based in Astellas' Global Capability Center (GCC) in Bengaluru, India. The role requires 2-3 days of on-site work per week for collaboration within the GCC. To facilitate collaboration with US stakeholders, this role is expected to work from 2 PM to 11 PM IST. You will be a member of a brand or pipeline-specific Value Team operating under an agile methodology.
