About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP & WordPress Developer for a full-time remote position. This long-term role is ideal for professionals passionate about enterprise-level web solutions who thrive independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring juniors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development of custom WordPress sites, plugins, and themes ensuring security, scalability, and performance (Core Web Vitals).
• Build applications using Core PHP and frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter.
• Optimize for Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and AI search readiness via structured data markup.
• Create responsive, pixel-perfect front-end experiences with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Integrate REST APIs, payment gateways, CRMs, and automation tools.
• Mentor junior developers and enforce OWASP security best practices.

Requirements:

Minimum 7+ years of experience in PHP/WordPress (Core + Frameworks). Expertise in WooCommerce, API integrations, MySQL optimization, WCAG accessibility compliance, and English communication skills. Knowledge of Tamil is an advantage.
