PHP & Wordpress Developer

We are looking for a skilled PHP & WordPress Developer with strong expertise in Core PHP, WordPress Development, JavaScript, SASS/SCSS scripting, and front-end technologies. The ideal candidate should be capable of developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites and web applications while ensuring high performance, security, and responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and WordPress.
• Build custom WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.
• Convert UI/UX designs into responsive and user-friendly web pages.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SASS/SCSS.
• Optimize website performance, speed, and security.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and compatibility problems.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers.
• Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and cross-browser compatible.
• Follow coding standards and best practices for development and deployment.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Core PHP.
• Hands-on experience with WordPress Theme & Plugin Development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX.
• Strong knowledge of SASS/SCSS scripting and modern CSS methodologies.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and responsive web design.
• Familiarity with MySQL and database management.
• Experience with Git/GitHub version control.
• Understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Knowledge of website optimization and SEO best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with WooCommerce customization and development.
• Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.js or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with web hosting environments, cPanel, and server management.
• Understanding of website security standards and performance optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in PHP and WordPress development.
