PHP Developer
We are seeking an experienced PHP and WordPress Developer with strong hands-on experience to join our team at Regent Campus D2. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining robust web applications using modern technologies such as Laravel, MySQL, REST APIs, and Git.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and web applications from scratch or by extending existing themes/plugins.
- Create custom functionality using actions, filters, hooks, shortcodes, custom post types, and taxonomies.
- Build secure backend solutions for membership platforms, LMS environments, WooCommerce stores, and multisite networks.
- Leverage the WordPress REST API to integrate third-party services and build scalable headless applications.
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, database issues, plugin conflicts, and security vulnerabilities in production environments.
- Optimize websites for speed using caching strategies (CDN), image optimization, and advanced MySQL query tuning.
Required Technical Skills:
Core Technologies: WordPress, PHP (OOP/MVC), REST API, HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
Databases: MySQL design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
Development Tools: Git/GitHub version control, CI/CD pipelines, Linux server management (Apache/Nginx).
Experience Level:
We require a professional with 5+ years of experience in PHP development and proven success building custom WordPress plugins. Knowledge of Laravel is highly preferred.
