PHP Developer

About the Role

Serviots is seeking a passionate PHP Developer with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our team in Ahmedabad, India. This permanent position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working on scalable applications and live systems, possess a strong coding mindset, and are driven by solving real-world problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Core PHP and Laravel.
• Upgrade legacy systems to newer PHP versions with minimal to no downtime.
• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Monitor and improve application performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in PHP development.
• Strong knowledge of PHP 7.4 or above (latest versions preferred).
• Proven experience with both Core PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, MySQL, and backend architecture.
• Experience working on live/production systems.
• Ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.

Nice to Have

• Experience with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
• Basic frontend skills including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
