Payroll Specialist

As a Payroll Specialist in Mumbai, MH, India, you will be responsible for managing all facets of payroll processing for assigned markets, ensuring accurate and timely compensation for employees of GfK and NIQ. This role requires close collaboration with external payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely submission of monthly payroll data and compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. You will execute salary payouts, manage employment establishment and termination processes, maintain up-to-date payroll records, and serve as the primary point of contact for payroll and administrative inquiries. Key responsibilities include liaising with government agencies and statutory bodies, preparing and submitting reports and payments to authorities, and maintaining confidentiality of employee information. The role also involves supporting daily departmental operations, administering payroll processes, validations, and report generations, and handling ad hoc payroll matters.
