Parts Specialist

Responsibilities include:

• Championing O'Reilly's customer service initiatives like Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, and Related Selling.
• Greeting customers warmly and assisting them in finding the right merchandise.
• Supporting professional customers and store management as directed.
• Completing all assigned company training programs.
• Providing outstanding phone support, including accurate parts lookups, quoting prices, and upselling premium/related items.
• Accurately handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions, and managing the cash drawer.
• Processing exchanges and returns efficiently and courteously.
• Resolving customer complaints with professionalism and a friendly demeanor.
• Assisting with store upkeep, including stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and maintaining store appearance.
• Preparing core and warranty returns for shipment and participating in inventory counts.
• Operating store equipment such as brake lathes after receiving proper training.
• Performing in-store services (where permitted) like battery testing and code scanning.
• Occasionally making deliveries via company vehicle, provided a clean driving record.
• Performing all other duties as assigned.

• The capability to multitask effectively, serving both in-store and phone customers simultaneously.

Bonus points if you have:

• Familiarity with automotive parts, cataloging systems, and the weatherly index.
• Experience in automotive sales or service.
• ASE certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages, with Spanish being a significant asset.
