Full Job Description
Join Truecaller in Bangalore, India, as a Partner Manager for Developer Products. This role is a key part of Truecaller for Developers, a high-growth and strategic business unit focused on developer platforms and relations.
Your primary responsibility will be to forge partnerships and build scalable engagements with third-party developers, predominantly in India. These developers will be building or have built products on mobile and web platforms, leveraging Truecaller's mobile identity-based developer products. The target developers include leading companies, online-focused brands, platforms, and emerging startups.
You will collaborate closely with colleagues in developer relations and other cross-functional teams such as product, engineering, sales, marketing, and PR to achieve the strategic goals of the Developer Products & Go-To-Market (GTM) unit.
What you bring:
- A strong understanding of Truecaller's core product and its business and developer offerings.
- Over 5 years of proven experience in business development, evangelization, and building partnerships focused on digital/mobile product integration, particularly with mobile/internet-first companies.
- Extensive experience engaging with the Indian developer, mobile, and startup ecosystem, including strong connections with the developer community.
- The ability to participate in technical discussions and deliver compelling product demonstrations to both external developers and internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, proactive approach, strong teamwork skills, and experience in startup environments.
- A holistic ability to visualize opportunities, challenges, and solutions.
The impact you will create:
- Drive core developer relations and partnership efforts to onboard top-tier, high-potential, and growing developers, Fintech companies, enterprises, and platforms to adopt Truecaller's developer-focused products, starting with the Truecaller SDK for login/verification.
- Scale the adoption of developer products within existing and potential third-party developer partners in India and other future markets for Truecaller.
- Collaborate with developers and internal teams to identify and promote innovative use cases for authentication-based developer products that foster growth and monetization streams.
- Align with and deliver on aggressive business goals set for the Developer Products GTM team.
- Provide valuable product feedback and share new use case insights from developers with internal product teams to continuously enhance Truecaller's industry-leading developer products and monetization strategies.
- Identify and report on competitive trends, insights, and recommendations from the local developer ecosystem.
- Quickly and effectively support developer onboarding, integration, and go-live cycles, ensuring a high level of developer and partner experience.
- Partner with developer marketing teams to execute co-marketing and thought leadership initiatives with strategic developers and brands that have demonstrated significant adoption of Truecaller's developer products.
- Explore and leverage cross-pollination opportunities within developer engagements, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to position and deploy other relevant Truecaller products.
- Create and manage high-quality technical content, including documentation, tutorials, sample code, API guides, best practice articles, case studies, webinars, and presentations.
It would be great if you also have:
- Experience with API-First World, CPaaS, SaaS (focus on ecosystem products), Low-Code, or No-Code platforms.
