Paralegal II

Zurich North America is seeking a skilled Paralegal II for its Staff Legal Office in Dallas, TX or Houston, TX, specializing in general liability litigation support. This role offers a hybrid work environment and involves providing essential legal assistance to up to 2-3 attorneys. Key responsibilities include drafting legal pleadings, correspondence, and other documents; conducting thorough legal and documentary research; managing case schedules and filing deadlines; summarizing depositions and medical records; preparing discovery requests and responses; and assisting attorneys with trial preparation. The position requires meticulous organization and maintenance of electronic case files and documentation, responding to inquiries from various stakeholders (customers, clients, counsel, witnesses), and tracking billable hours.
