Outbound Internet Engineer

As an Outbound Internet Engineer based in Bengaluru, you will be instrumental in designing, engineering, and managing the organization's overall security posture. You will act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance and technical expertise to ensure the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of organizational data. Your role will be critical in integrating robust security protocols across a complex and evolving threat landscape. Key responsibilities include Security Architecture & Design, developing and maintaining enterprise security architecture aligned with business objectives and compliance requirements; Risk Management, identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks across systems, applications, and infrastructure; Policy & Governance, defining and enforcing security policies, standards, and best practices; Incident Response, leading investigations and remediation efforts for security incidents and breaches; Advisory & Leadership, serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and mentoring aspiring security professionals; Technology Integration, evaluating and implementing advanced security technologies and solutions; Compliance & Audit, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR); and Stakeholder Collaboration, working closely with IT, DevOps, and business teams to embed security into processes and projects.

Skills and Qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with the ability to balance security with business needs. Experience in threat modeling and secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) using Agile methods is required. Proficiency in network security, policies, and security standards is a must. Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO, CIS) and technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, IAM), as well as expertise in cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern application security practices, are expected. Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent) are preferred.
