Full Job Description
Sopra Steria is seeking an experienced Oracle Techno-Functional Consultant to join their team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. This role focuses on implementing, configuring, and customizing Oracle Financials modules within both Oracle EBS R12 and Oracle Fusion Financials environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong data migration expertise, coupled with a solid understanding of technical development and functional configurations to meet diverse business needs. Responsibilities include close collaboration with business users, in-depth data analysis, managing integrations, and resolving complex technical and functional challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Responsibilities
- Collaborate with finance teams to understand and translate business requirements into effective Oracle ERP solutions.
- Configure, test, and implement Oracle Financial modules (GL, AP, AR) for both EBS R12 and Fusion Financials.
- Conduct gap analysis and propose solutions to enhance financial processes.
- Provide functional support to end-users, assisting with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training, and documentation.
- Define Chart of Accounts (COA), Multi-Currency, Ledger Setup, and Reporting requirements in conjunction with business users.
- Support critical month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
Technical Responsibilities
- Execute data migration from EBS R12 to Fusion Financials, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Develop custom reports using PL/SQL and leverage FBDI/ADFDI tools.
- Design and implement integrations between EBS, Fusion Financials, and third-party systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and perform performance tuning for Oracle databases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data migration, reporting, and integrations.
- Develop and maintain custom forms, personalizations, and extensions for EBS R12.
- Manage incidents, problems, and changes within ITIL frameworks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience & Technical Skills
- 5–10 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Financials, with expertise in both EBS R12 and Fusion Financials.
- Proficiency in Oracle Financial modules including GL, AP, and AR.
- Proven experience in data migration, including extraction, transformation, and utilizing FBDI, ADFDI, SQL Loader, and API-based migration strategies.
- Strong technical development skills in PL/SQL.
- Experience integrating Oracle ERP with third-party applications and external financial systems.
- Ability to develop custom reports, dashboards, and analytics using Oracle ERP BI tools.
Soft Skills & Certifications
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex financial and technical issues.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with business users, finance teams, and IT stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage financial system implementations effectively.
- Preferred Certifications: Oracle Cloud Financials Certification / Oracle EBS R12 Financials Certification.
