Executive – Hub Operations

About the Role: The Senior Executive / Assistant Manager – Hub Operations is responsible for managing end-to-end mid-mile operations at an assigned Air or Surface Hub, ensuring seamless shipment movement across the Blue Dart network. You will lead shift operations by coordinating processing, fleet movements, and resources to maintain safety, compliance, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hub Operations Management: Lead day-to-day operations for inbound, outbound, and transit shipments; ensure adherence to SOPs and network schedules; optimize hub infrastructure and manpower utilization.
• Mid Mile Network Operations: Ensure timely receipt, consolidation, and dispatch of shipments. Coordinate air, surface, and feeder networks while monitoring loading/unloading activities.
• Network Coordination & Exception Management: Proactively manage delays and misroutes; ensure accurate status updates across all systems and clear pending stock lying at hub (SLAH).
• Fleet & Resource Management: Ensure optimum vehicle utilization, coordinate with transport vendors, and monitor dock activities to minimize turnaround times.
• Safety & Compliance: Promote a strong safety culture, ensure compliance with aviation/transportation regulations, and pass periodic operational audits.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. Relevant experience of 3–7 years (depending on grade) managing inbound/outbound operations within an air or surface logistics network is required. Technical proficiency with Logistics Management Systems and strong leadership skills are essential.
