Operations Engineer

As an Operations Engineer at Accenture in Bengaluru, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operations and managing the delivery of production systems and services. This position requires a strong understanding of operational requirements and service agreements. Your daily responsibilities will involve close collaboration with various teams to ensure the smooth functioning of production environments, proactive identification and resolution of issues, and the implementation of solutions to optimize service delivery. You will be engaged in critical problem-solving activities, contributing significantly to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the production ecosystem. A key aspect of this role is ensuring that all operational standards are consistently met and maintained.

You are expected to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and will collaborate with and manage a team to perform operational tasks. This role carries responsibility for team decisions and requires engagement with multiple teams to contribute to key decisions. You will be tasked with providing solutions to problems impacting your immediate team and extending to cross-functional teams. Furthermore, you will facilitate training sessions for junior team members, fostering their skill development and knowledge enhancement. A critical function will be monitoring and analyzing operational performance metrics to pinpoint areas for improvement.

Key Skills:

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management).

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with SAP MM (Materials Management).
• Strong understanding of warehouse management processes and best practices.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues in production environments.
• Familiarity with system integration and data flow between SAP EWM and other SAP modules.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP EWM.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
• A 15-year full-time education is a mandatory qualification.
