About the Role
ConsultBae is seeking a motivated Operations Specialist to join our AI Data Services vertical. This is an execution-focused, high-ownership role involving:
- Operations management
- Client coordination
- AI data collection and annotation delivery
- Process improvement and light automation
- Freelancer sourcing, onboarding, and performance management
You will collaborate closely with founders and senior leadership to manage end-to-end AI data projects for a global clientele. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive on ownership, structured execution, and tackling operational challenges at scale.
Important Clarification: This is a non-technical role focused on operations and client delivery, not software development or ML model building. Strong logical reasoning and structured problem-solving skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Project Operations & Delivery
- Deconstruct client requirements into actionable execution plans.
- Source, onboard, and manage freelance annotators and quality control teams.
- Monitor daily submissions, quality metrics, rework rates, and approvals.
- Ensure consistent achievement of project timelines and quality benchmarks.
- Maintain meticulous documentation, file structures, and reporting systems.
Client Handling
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal execution teams.
- Provide clear, structured updates, reports, and progress summaries to clients.
- Translate client requirements into effective operational workflows.
- Manage feedback loops and address escalations professionally.
Data Collection & Annotation Management
- Oversee large-scale AI data collection and annotation projects.
- Ensure strict adherence to project guidelines across all teams.
- Monitor project throughput, accuracy, and team productivity.
- Continuously drive improvements in execution speed and quality standards.
Process Improvement & Automation
- Develop and maintain structured trackers using tools like Google Sheets.
- Create forms and dashboards for efficient reporting.
- Identify and streamline repetitive manual tasks.
- Utilize basic automation tools (e.g., Apps Script, no-code platforms) to enhance efficiency.
No hardcore coding is required, but a strong comfort with data, logic, and systems thinking is vital.
