About the Role

We are seeking a skilled OpenText AppWorks Developer to join our team. This role involves developing and configuring applications using the OpenText AppWorks low-code platform to meet client-specific requirements. You will analyze business processes and design automation solutions, manage deployments, patches, and hotfixes, and collaborate closely with business analysts and IT teams. Responsibilities also include providing technical support and effective problem management for recurring incidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop applications utilizing the OpenText AppWorks low-code platform.
• Configure and implement solutions aligned with client requirements.
• Analyze business processes and workflows to design robust automation solutions.
• Manage application deployments, patches, hotfixes, and installations.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and IT professionals.
• Provide essential technical support and problem management for persistent incidents.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency with AppWorks versions 16.x and 20.x (both on-premise and cloud environments).
• Familiarity with BPM, ESB/Web Services, X-forms, and Entity Modeling.
• Demonstrated experience in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Strong knowledge of:
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java/.NET
• XML, JSON, SOAP, REST APIs
• SQL and Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and Postgres.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer engagement capabilities.
• Experience with AWS GovCloud and FDA environments is a plus (particularly for federal roles).
