OpenShift Devops Consultant

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Consultant with expertise in Red Hat OpenShift to join our team in Mumbai, India. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration and operation of Red Hat OpenShift solutions for our clients. This includes developing comprehensive solution designs, implementation plans, and documentation. You will also contribute to the development of IT automation products and service offerings.

Your responsibilities will include assessing automation architectures and proof-of-concepts, selecting optimal implementation methods, and creating automated tests to ensure functionality. You will leverage your experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions to build robust pipelines. Proficiency in Docker containerization and clustering technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, OpenShift, and EKS is essential. You should have a strong understanding of YML and the ability to create Dockerfiles for various environments. Experience with source code administration (GitHub/GitLab) and artifact/package/image management tools (Nexus/JFrog) is also required. Furthermore, you will utilize your Linux, automation, and scripting skills (ansible, bash, groovy) to streamline operations. Knowledge of security scanning and DevSecOps tools like Snyk, Sonatype, GitLab, and Mend is expected. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) provisioning is crucial. You will assess workloads for suitability in different cloud deployment models (IaaS, PaaS, Serverless Functions) and guide infrastructure teams in implementing creative solutions on public cloud platforms. Evaluating and implementing orchestration, automation, and tooling solutions to enhance process consistency and accuracy will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will analyze platform usage metrics to plan and execute necessary expansions to meet computational demands.
