FEA Analyst - Pune
We are actively seeking a highly experienced FEA Analyst to join our dynamic engineering team in Pune. This role is crucial for supporting our product development lifecycle through advanced simulation and analysis.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in structural and thermo-mechanical analysis, with a proven track record in utilizing FEA software such as Ansys or Abaqus. Expertise in heat exchangers and sheet metal manufacturing methods is highly desirable. You will play a key role in driving product innovation and ensuring high performance and durability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive structural analyses, including thermo-mechanical, metal forming, and durability studies.
- Execute advanced FEA simulations such as linear and non-linear structural analysis, vibration analysis, thermal shock, and impact analysis.
- Support product design and validation through meticulous FEA simulations.
- Collaborate closely with design and engineering teams to implement design modifications that enhance performance and durability.
- Perform CAD modeling using Creo or CATIA to facilitate simulation setup.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong foundational knowledge in structural mechanics and heat transfer; experience with heat exchangers is a significant advantage.
- Hands-on proficiency in FEA tools like Ansys or Abaqus; familiarity with other simulation software is a plus.
- Proficiency in CAD modeling software, specifically Creo or CATIA.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for cross-functional collaboration and reporting.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, project management, and time management abilities.
Experience Required: 8-10 years
Qualifications: B.E. / Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in FEA Analysis.
