About the Role

Ufinity Ventures is seeking highly skilled Open-Source Software Engineers and GitHub Contributors to participate in an advanced AI training and software-engineering project. We are looking specifically for engineers who own or maintain open-source repositories or have made meaningful code contributions to established projects.

The Work

• Explore and understand unfamiliar open-source repositories and complex codebases.
• Implement, modify, and debug front-end and back-end components across services, APIs, databases, and external dependencies.
• Reproduce complex software issues to identify root causes.
• Develop solutions that align with existing project architecture and contribution standards.
• Write unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests.
• Review AI-generated code patches for correctness, security, and maintainability.
• Solve challenging real-world software-engineering tasks and translate implementations across programming languages when required.
