Open Source Developer

About this Role

OpenRoot supports developers creating open-source software that solves real problems or improves useful tools. We welcome new ideas, early projects, and established repositories for review.

• We provide community support and free project visibility separate from funded rewards.

• You may receive community support with consideration for promotion on our socials and in the newsletter.

How It Works

A small specialist tool can qualify. Projects do not need mass-market appeal, a working product, or existing users when applying.
We manually assess intended usefulness during review; approved projects work toward rewards under agreed milestone terms without additional subjective tests after approval.

• Projects providing pornographic content/sexual services or built for illegal activity/fraud are ineligible. Legitimate sexual-health projects are welcome under standard safety criteria.
