Full Job Description
Intuit, a leader in marketing platforms for small businesses, is seeking a motivated Onboarding Specialist to manage a portfolio of projects for new customers in the United States. This role is crucial for establishing strong customer behaviors that drive long-term success and for clearly demonstrating the value of Mailchimp's comprehensive marketing platform.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the onboarding health of new customers to ensure rapid value realization and long-term engagement.
- Collaborate with customers to define business objectives and create tailored success plans.
- Partner with other Mailchimp teams to deliver scalable, 1:many onboarding experiences.
- Adapt onboarding processes to meet individual customer needs and ensure a customized experience.
- Contribute to a positive team culture emphasizing collaboration, customer empathy, equality, and inclusion.
- Develop deep expertise in the Mailchimp platform and its functionalities.
- Identify opportunities to recommend essential services and partners to facilitate customer onboarding and implementation milestones.
- Work closely with customers and their technical teams to seamlessly integrate Mailchimp into their existing marketing technology stacks.
- Track and achieve key implementation milestones for customers.
- Identify, document, and escalate potential implementation risks that could impact retention or successful adoption.
- Provide comprehensive training and progressive guidance to customers throughout the implementation and launch phases.
- Collaborate with other customer-facing teams to optimize customer hand-offs and enhance the overall customer journey.
- Mentor and support new Onboarding Specialists as they integrate into the team and begin engaging with customers.
- Proactively communicate customer risks, successes, and challenges, offering potential solutions or risk mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with marketing and/or advertising campaigns and strategy, preferably in digital or display advertising.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer or client-facing role (e.g., B2B Marketing Sales, Customer Success, Account Management).
- Proven experience managing onboarding and implementation activities to drive product or service adoption and utilization.
- A strong understanding of MarTech, with practical experience using MarTech platforms being a significant advantage.
- Demonstrated success in managing a portfolio of accounts, with a focus on driving client adoption and value.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate both technical details and business strategy effectively.
- Demonstrated patience and enthusiasm for explaining complex concepts to a diverse range of audiences.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable balancing independence with accountability.
- A strong ability to listen actively and adapt quickly to changing business objectives and requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with HTML/CSS.
- Experience working with self-service SaaS solutions.
- Experience in a team-oriented, collaborative work environment.
- Multilingual proficiency in one or more major European languages.
- Familiarity with Mailchimp and its features.
- Knowledge of the market and competitive landscape.
- Experience with CRM and Customer Success platforms.
