OMS Sterling Engineer

We are seeking 6 Lead OMS Sterling Engineers with over 8 years of experience. This role can be based in Hyderabad, Pune, Gurugram, Bangalore, or remote.

Mandatory Skills: IBM Sterling Order Management System (version 9.0+), Java, Microservices, Cloud Native (AWS), XML, XSD, SOAP, REST Services, Websphere MQ or JBoss or Weblogic.

Responsibilities:

• Experience in the eCommerce industry, managing high-volume applications for 7+ years.
• 4-5+ years of application development expertise with IBM Sterling Order Management Fulfillment Suite.
• Implementation experience with Sterling Order Management, versions 9.0 or higher, is preferred.
• Upgrading IBM Sterling Order Management System to 9.3 or higher is a plus.
• Proficiency in XML, XSD, SOAP, and REST services.
• Expertise in at least one application server: Websphere MQ, JBoss, or Weblogic.
• Subject matter expertise in building large-scale retail B2C web applications using Supply Chain and Logistics Systems.
• Experience with IBM Sterling Order Management System Configuration Deployment Toolkit (Sterling CDT) and Global Inventory Visibility. Caching technologies are a plus.
• Comprehensive SDLC experience with strong design skills using UML and patterns.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall implementation methodologies.
• Experience with version control management systems like SVN, CVS, or GIT.
• Involvement in production environment deployment and maintenance.
• Provide support for troubleshooting and investigations related to order management systems.
• Respond promptly to critical requests.
• Ability to analyze and design data models with a solid understanding of database concepts for web environments.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization for scalability and high availability.
• Experience with Omni Channel Implementations using IBM Sterling OMS is a plus.
• Exposure to Cassandra is a plus.
