Non-Traction Engineer

Oriental Consultants India Pvt. Ltd. seeks a Non-Traction Engineer for Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services. This role involves the construction of double-line electrified railway tracks, including signaling and telecommunication systems and related infrastructure for the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor Project in Mumbai, India. The position is project-specific with a duration of 12 months, extendable. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years of overall professional experience. Specifically, 2 years of experience in executing works related to railway power supply installations (substations, cable laying, testing & commissioning of power equipment) is required. Candidates preferred to be under 30 years of age. The Non-Traction Engineer will be responsible for supervising power line crossing works, general electrical works in buildings, stations, and yards, preparing daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, measuring works, checking bills, participating in type tests/factory acceptance tests, and assisting in final testing and commissioning. This role is crucial for the PMC2R Contract or other projects managed by OC India RE/ARE or OC India HO.
