Join Morgan Stanley's Legal and Compliance Division (LCD) in Mumbai as an Associate within the Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Visualization & Reporting Solution (VRS) team. This team acts as the second line of defense, managing critical non-financial risks including Financial Crimes, market manipulation, and operational risk. As part of LCD, you will support the firm's business objectives by overseeing legal, regulatory, and franchise risk. The NFR VRS team delivers data sets, reporting products, and analytical insights to LCD users, employing innovative data-driven solutions and industry-standard tools to measure, manage, and mitigate risk.

Responsibilities:

• Engage in Data and Analytics projects, including data analysis, insights generation, visualization, and reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into effective reporting products.
• Utilize visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI to design, develop, and implement interactive reports and dashboards.
• Support Non-Financial Risk management by deriving actionable insights from data using quantitative and statistical techniques.
• Guide stakeholders on data visualization and reporting best practices and analytics for problem-solving.
• Enhance program processes and conduct analysis for strategic projects to benefit the division.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in data visualization, reporting, or data analysis roles.
• Proficiency in querying and transforming large datasets.
• Experience in creating data-driven insights and analytics.
• Experience with automation of reporting solutions and processes.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with global, cross-functional teams.
• Direct experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
• Good understanding of project management principles.
• Experience in reporting and utilizing business data to support business processes.
• Familiarity with mainstream data processing and modeling languages such as Alteryx, R, and Python.
• Experience leveraging AI solutions for reporting and analytical automation is a plus.
