The Team

Deloitte’s Technology & Transformation practice helps clients unlock the value within vast amounts of data. Through our global network, we provide strategic guidance and implementation services to manage data from diverse sources, transforming it into accurate, actionable information that drives fact-based decision-making and creates an insight-driven advantage. Our practice covers business intelligence & visualization, data management, performance management, and next-generation analytics and technologies, including big data, cloud, cognitive, and machine learning.

Role Summary

As a Node.js Developer, you will be a vital part of our software development team, responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and reliable Node.js-based applications. This role demands strong Node.js programming skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a dedication to delivering high-quality software.

Must-have Skills:

1. Proficiency in JavaScript
2. Experience with TypeScript
3. Proficiency in Node.js frameworks, specifically Nest.js
4. Proficiency in writing effective unit test cases
5. Proficiency in Node.js testing frameworks such as Mocha, Jest, Jasmine, Chai, Sinon
6. Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (plus)
7. Understanding of software development best practices, including design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean code
8. Knowledge of Microservices, event-driven architectures, and serverless architecture (plus)
9. Good understanding of DevOps tools
10. Proficiency in writing clean code and using static code review tools
11. Experience with database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL databases)
12. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
13. Effective communication and collaboration skills for a team-oriented environment

Education and Certifications:

Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Good-to-have:

• Azure/GCP/AWS – Application Developer certification
