About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with 2-3 years of experience to join our team in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This role involves developing and maintaining robust backend systems, working with cutting-edge technologies, and contributing to international projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Implement REST APIs and microservices, adhering to best practices.
• Design and manage database schemas, ensuring data integrity and performance for both relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Utilize ORM tools like Sequelize or TypeORM for efficient database interaction.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, leveraging your working knowledge of React.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues and production incidents promptly.
• Optimize application performance and implement caching strategies.
• Ensure API security using standards like JWT and OAuth.
• Apply prompt engineering and utilize AI tools to enhance development processes.
• Contribute to global/international projects, demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Use Git for version control.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of professional backend development experience.
• Expertise in Node.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Familiarity with ORM tools (Sequelize, TypeORM).
• Experience with Git.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving capabilities.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools and techniques.
• Experience in international/global project environments.
• Knowledge of performance optimization and caching.
• Familiarity with API security standards (JWT, OAuth).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Working knowledge of React front-end development is a plus.
