Job Summary

Kasar Credit and Capital Private Limited is seeking a skilled Node.js Developer to contribute to the development and maintenance of their financial systems, with a specific focus on Loan Management Systems (LMS). The role involves building scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs essential for financial applications, payment workflows, and associated services. Collaboration with product managers, frontend engineers, data teams, and security/compliance specialists is a key aspect of this position to ensure the delivery of reliable, secure, and compliant software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend logic for the complete loan lifecycle: creation, approval, disbursement, collection, and closure.
• Develop RESTful APIs to support frontend applications, field agent applications, and facilitate third-party integrations.
• Integrate with various financial services, including credit bureaus, banking APIs (e.g., ICICI, Razorpay, Paytm), and KYC services (e.g., DigiLocker, Aadhaar, PAN).
• Implement complex business logic for EMI schedules, interest calculations, penalties, and foreclosure scenarios.
• Manage field-level data, incorporating features like location tagging, agent assignments, and visit logging.
• Develop comprehensive audit trails and transaction logs for all loan-related activities.
• Ensure data consistency, transactional integrity, and adherence to industry standards such as RBI and NBFC regulations.
• Optimize services for enhanced performance, robust security, and overall reliability.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development utilizing Node.js and NestJS.
• Demonstrated experience in financial applications, particularly with loan origination and management systems. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript is essential.
• Strong understanding of SQL databases, including MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with payment gateways, API-based integrations, and webhooks.
• Familiarity with field agent workflows, including visit logging and geo-tagging functionalities.
• Working knowledge of authentication mechanisms such as OAuth2 and JWT.
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git, containerization with Docker, and basic DevOps pipelines.

Working Hours and Days

Working Hours: 10:00 AM - 06:30 PM

Days: Monday to Saturday (Work From Office), Saturday (Work From Home option available).
