Role Overview

IRTISH Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Node.js Developer for its Noida office. This role requires strong expertise in core and advanced JavaScript concepts and hands-on experience with the Express.js framework. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building scalable backend services and APIs, ensuring high performance, security, and maintainability of applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust server-side applications utilizing Node.js.
• Construct and manage efficient RESTful APIs employing Express.js.
• Produce clean, effective, reusable, and maintainable JavaScript code.
• Implement complex business logic and seamlessly integrate backend services with frontend applications.
• Master asynchronous operations, event-driven architecture, and non-blocking I/O principles.
• Proactively debug, optimize, and enhance application performance.
• Engage in close collaboration with frontend developers, QA teams, and other project stakeholders.
• Uphold application security standards and adhere to best development practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years of dedicated experience in backend development with Node.js.
• A profound understanding of core and advanced JavaScript concepts, including:
  • Closures
  • Promises
  • Async/Await
  • Event Loop
  • Callbacks
• Demonstrable hands-on experience with the Express.js framework.
• Proven experience in developing sophisticated RESTful APIs and backend services.
• A solid grasp of middleware, routing, and the request/response lifecycle.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Exceptional problem-solving, debugging, and analytical capabilities.

Desirable Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Knowledge of modern authentication and authorization mechanisms, including JWT and OAuth.
• Exposure to advanced performance optimization and security best practices.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
