Role Summary

Docdort is seeking a skilled Next.js / React Frontend Developer to join our team in Bangalore. This role bridges the gap between design and engineering, focusing on architecting scalable web solutions and building high-performance, SEO-friendly websites using Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG). The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of modern React frameworks, a keen eye for UI/UX detail, and the ability to create engaging user interfaces with advanced animations and smooth interactions.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development

• Build scalable, responsive, and pixel-perfect web applications using Next.js and React.
• Develop reusable components and maintain clean, maintainable codebases.

UI & Styling

• Convert Figma designs into production-ready code using HTML5, SASS/SCSS, and Tailwind CSS.
• Ensure responsive design across multiple devices and browsers.

Motion & Interactivity

• Implement engaging animations and interactions using GSAP and CSS transitions.
• Create smooth user experiences with timeline-based animations and scroll triggers.

Performance Optimization

• Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals.
• Optimize performance through lazy loading, image optimization, and efficient rendering.

State Management

• Implement scalable state management solutions using Context API or similar patterns.

API Integration

• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate RESTful APIs and handle asynchronous data flows.

Code Quality & Testing

• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Debug cross-browser and cross-device issues.
• Write unit and integration tests using modern testing frameworks.

Collaboration

• Work closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and developers to transform business requirements into production-ready features.

Rendering Architecture

• Implement SSR, SSG, and Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR) to enhance SEO and performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in frontend web development.
• Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS, JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with React.js and Next.js (Page Router, App Router, SSR, SSG).
• Proficiency with Tailwind CSS.
• Deep understanding of GSAP animations.
• Knowledge of state management principles.
• Experience with performance optimization techniques.
• Strong experience with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Familiarity with testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

• Experience with Headless CMS (Strapi).
• Knowledge of Three.js / React Three Fiber (R3F) for 3D interactions.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of Web Accessibility (WCAG) standards.
• Knowledge of technical SEO best practices.
• Experience deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
