Network Technician

Role Overview

Milestone Technologies stands as a leading global IT managed services firm specializing in comprehensive technology solutions for hyperscale AI, accelerated computing, and enterprise data centers. We are seeking a skilled Network Technician to support our physical-layer network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Fiber Infrastructure Management: Install, route, label, certify, maintain, and troubleshoot fiber optic systems supporting production environments using industry-standard testing methodologies (e.g., MPO/MTP trunk deployments).
• Copper & Structured Cabling: Execute the installation and termination of structured copper cabling systems while ensuring strict adherence to bend radius standards and cable management protocols.
• Hardware Operations: Deploy, replace, and validate critical components including optics/transceivers, switches, console servers, OOB devices, and patch panels. Support directed hardware replacements in 24x7 mission-critical settings.
• OOC & Console Connectivity: Manage Out-of-Band (OOB) management networks and console cabling infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted operational access and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Rack Deployment & Commissioning: Lead deployment activities for new racks, pods, and hall expansions. Perform physical audits against floor plans and port maps during turn-up phases and acceptance testing.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to rigorous Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies, site security protocols, and customer-defined service level objectives while maintaining accurate as-built documentation.
