Network & System Security Analyst in Mysuru, Karnataka
dnA Consulting is seeking a skilled Network & System Security Analyst for a Full-Time position in Mysuru, Karnataka. This role is within the Information Security / IT Security department and involves a Rotational Shift.
The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in securing both cloud and on-premises environments. We are looking for expertise in network security technologies, vulnerability management, patch management, and enterprise security operations. This position requires a proactive approach to monitoring, identifying security risks, implementing best practices, and collaborating with IT teams to enhance the organization's overall security posture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain network security solutions such as Firewalls, IPS/IDS, and VPNs.
- Monitor and secure cloud and on-premise infrastructure environments.
- Implement security controls for servers, workstations, and endpoint systems.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts.
- Manage patch management processes for servers, systems, and applications.
- Investigate security incidents and support incident response.
- Conduct regular security monitoring, log analysis, and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and IT teams to strengthen enterprise security.
- Maintain documentation for security incidents, remediation, and configurations.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Network Security and System Security concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Firewalls, IPS/IDS, VPN, and endpoint security tools.
- Proven experience securing cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
- Knowledge of vulnerability management and remediation processes.
- Experience with patch management and security update processes.
- Understanding of enterprise server and workstation security.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Exposure to SIEM, EDR, or SOC environments.
- Experience in enterprise or managed security environments.
- Security certifications such as CEH, Security+, CISSP, or CCNA Security are preferred.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
