Network & System Security Analyst in Mysuru, Karnataka

dnA Consulting is seeking a skilled Network & System Security Analyst for a Full-Time position in Mysuru, Karnataka. This role is within the Information Security / IT Security department and involves a Rotational Shift.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in securing both cloud and on-premises environments. We are looking for expertise in network security technologies, vulnerability management, patch management, and enterprise security operations. This position requires a proactive approach to monitoring, identifying security risks, implementing best practices, and collaborating with IT teams to enhance the organization's overall security posture.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain network security solutions such as Firewalls, IPS/IDS, and VPNs.
• Monitor and secure cloud and on-premise infrastructure environments.
• Implement security controls for servers, workstations, and endpoint systems.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts.
• Manage patch management processes for servers, systems, and applications.
• Investigate security incidents and support incident response.
• Conduct regular security monitoring, log analysis, and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and IT teams to strengthen enterprise security.
• Maintain documentation for security incidents, remediation, and configurations.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of Network Security and System Security concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Firewalls, IPS/IDS, VPN, and endpoint security tools.
• Proven experience securing cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management and remediation processes.
• Experience with patch management and security update processes.
• Understanding of enterprise server and workstation security.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
• Exposure to SIEM, EDR, or SOC environments.
• Experience in enterprise or managed security environments.
• Security certifications such as CEH, Security+, CISSP, or CCNA Security are preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
