Network Support Engineer - Logic Planet
Logic Planet is seeking a skilled Network Support Engineer to join our team. This role involves providing essential support and troubleshooting for network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco networking products and a strong understanding of network protocols and troubleshooting techniques. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and are committed to meeting service level agreements.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve Layer 2 network-related issues.
- Work with Cisco networking products, including routers and switches.
- Manage and close network-related tickets within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure SLA compliance.
- Escalate unresolved incidents to the appropriate next level of support.
- Diagnose network alerts, events, and issues effectively.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of switching and routing protocols.
- Utilize various network programs, configuration, and debugging techniques.
- Coordinate with vendors for pending support calls and issue resolution.
Requirements:
- 1 to 2 years of experience in network support.
- Experience in troubleshooting L2 network issues.
- Proficiency with Cisco networking products (Routers & Switches).
- Ability to work on and close network tickets within SLAs.
- Understanding and adherence to SOPs and SLAs.
