Network Security Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru/Bangalore, India. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the security posture of our dedicated infrastructure, including embedded operating systems, applications, and middleware.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee security configurations for dedicated infrastructure, embedded operating systems, applications, and middleware.
• Deploy and support information and systems protections across networks, servers, desktops, and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with senior security engineers to ensure robust configurations and processes for identifying risks, protecting assets, detecting threats, responding to attacks, and recovering from cybersecurity events.
• Assist with the execution of moves, adds, and changes for security tools and platforms.
• Maintain and execute documented operating procedures, utilizing workflows and ticketing systems for work requests and fulfillment.
• Support transitions, implementations, and migrations of security systems.
• Collect, analyze, and report on security metrics on a routine basis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 2-4 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
