Network Security Engineer
Full Job Description
Applied Materials seeks a Senior Network Security Engineer / Solutions Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise security solutions. This role focuses on Zero Trust architecture, Secure Service Edge (SSE), web application DDoS protection, Network Detection Response (NDR), and next-generation firewalls (Palo Alto Networks, Zscaler, Akamai). You will own end-to-end security platforms, collaborate with cross-functional teams (SOC, Cloud, IAM, Finance), and drive operational excellence, threat response, and cost-efficient security investments.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of hands-on experience with network security, Zero Trust principles, and multivendor security stacks (Palo Alto, Zscaler, Akamai, NDR). Strong technical leadership, financial acumen, and the ability to align security strategies with business priorities are essential. Certifications (PCNSE, CISSP, etc.) and cloud/hybrid security expertise are preferred.
This is a full-time, in-person role in Bengaluru, with opportunities for high-impact problem-solving in a globally recognized IT leader.
