Network Operations Specialist

We are seeking a proactive Network Operations Specialist to join our Network Operations Center (NOC) in Mumbai, India. This role is vital for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure peak performance and maximum uptime. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving capabilities, and thrives in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Monitoring: Continuously oversee network systems, servers, and applications using NOC tools to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Incident Response: Detect, diagnose, and escalate network incidents per established protocols, including customer concern protocols.
• Troubleshooting: Provide first and second-level support for technology impacts, network connectivity, hardware, and software issues.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of incidents, resolutions, and system changes.
• Collaboration: Partner with engineering, IT support, and vendor teams to resolve complex network challenges.
• Maintenance: Support routine maintenance activities like patching, upgrades, and configuration updates.
• Reporting: Create performance and incident reports for management.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to security policies, operational standards, and service-level agreements (SLAs).

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1-3 years of experience in a NOC, IT support, or network administration role.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Cisco Thousand Eyes, Dynatrace, or Splunk.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, routing, and switching.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting aptitude.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Availability to work in a 24/7 environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Industry certifications like CompTIA Network+ or CCNA are preferred.
