Network Engineer - Sanand, Ahmedabad

Knowledge Park, an esteemed institution affiliated with NMIMS, seeks a skilled Network Engineer for its Sanand, Ahmedabad location. This permanent role offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic educational environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and implementation of robust network infrastructure.
• Provide comprehensive network support across all organizational locations.
• Install, configure, and maintain network equipment, including wired and wireless solutions, as well as enterprise telephony systems (PBX/CUCM).
• Collaborate effectively with vendors, partners, service providers, and internal/external stakeholders.
• Deliver essential network support to users, ensuring seamless operations.
• Implement security enhancements and system upgrades under senior guidance.
• Proactively monitor network performance (wired and wireless) to maintain optimal efficiency.
• Manage network user accounts and permissions.
• Support users and infrastructure to minimize operational disruptions.
• Develop and maintain technical support documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, BE/B Tech, BSC IT, or a related discipline.
• CCNA certification is mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration.
• Preference for candidates with prior experience using Cisco/HP/Juniper switches, routers, and enterprise telephony.
