Network Engineer - NOC Analyst

Akkodis is seeking a proactive Network Engineer to join our team as a NOC Analyst in Hyderabad / Secunderabad, Telangana, India. This permanent position offers a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of Continent 8's global network, hosted infrastructure, and cybersecurity services. As part of a follow-the-sun support model, you will be instrumental in maintaining service continuity and peak performance for our international clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Excellence: Deliver high-quality daily operational support and infrastructure maintenance. Proactively monitor system availability and performance to minimize downtime and enhance customer service delivery, ensuring a 99.9% continuous service level.
• Incident and Problem Management: Skillfully troubleshoot network-related issues, conduct thorough root cause analysis, and manage incidents and escalations efficiently.
• Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Liaise effectively with Level 3 technical teams across Data Center Hosting, Cloud, and Network services. Contribute to technology projects within these domains and develop comprehensive operational and support documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in network operations and support environments is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills.
• Proven experience with IP service management, including change and incident management processes.
• Proficiency with technologies such as Cisco Meraki, ASA firewall, Juniper hardware, VMware, Nutanix, and Microsoft enterprise suite.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools like Cacti, MRTG, and SolarWinds.
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, JNCIA, VCA, or Microsoft certifications are highly desirable.
• Experience monitoring large international networks within a global business setting is a significant advantage.
