Network Engineer - SD WAN/Switches
Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Network Engineer with expertise in SD WAN and switching technologies for their Gurugram, India location. This is a permanent position for candidates with 2 to 5 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactive incident detection and response, with established escalation and communication protocols.
- Generation of regular network performance reports, including bandwidth, latency, uptime, and availability, with actionable optimization insights.
- Coordination with ISPs and vendors for network link issues.
SD WAN Management:
- Management of private links and high-performance WAN links with redundancy and failover for remote site connectivity.
- Implementation and management of SD-WAN solutions for dynamic routing and bandwidth optimization.
- Minimizing jitter, latency, and packet loss to ensure optimal user experience for global collaboration tools.
Branch Network WAN:
- Management of WAN links to ensure redundancy and high availability for all branch offices and retail outlets nationwide.
- Ensuring stable and secure network connections with real-time monitoring and troubleshooting for all branch locations.
- L2 Network Troubleshooting, capacity trend analysis, problem identification, patching, and configuration management.
LAN/Wi-Fi Management:
- Full lifecycle management of the Local Area Network (LAN), including switch configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Management of the Wi-Fi network to ensure comprehensive coverage, security, and performance for office and remote environments.
- Provision of secure, segregated guest Wi-Fi access with appropriate bandwidth controls.
Audit Participation and Documentation:
- Active participation in all customer-requested audits, including form completion and data collection.
- Timely and accurate submission of all required audit materials.
- Thorough completion of audit questionnaires and related documents, ensuring compliance with service scope.
- Provision of supporting evidence as needed.
