Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with traders to implement and modify network connectivity to financial exchanges.
• Troubleshoot and analyze network performance issues to ensure optimal functionality.
• Participate in the design and deployment of networks for new offices and data centers.
• Develop and implement low-latency network solutions for existing infrastructure.
• Provide comprehensive network support for production, office, and end-user environments.
• Execute network moves, adds, and changes efficiently.
• Perform market connectivity tests and manage circuit migrations.
• Assist with data center migrations as required.
• Liaise with third-party vendors to maintain communication lines and data center infrastructure.
• Coordinate with remote hand technicians for global data center network and hardware troubleshooting, including break/fix resolution.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess 3-6 years of relevant experience and demonstrate:

• Proficiency in client-server architectures and network design principles.
• Strong command of Cisco IOS/NxOS and other network operating systems.
• In-depth knowledge of routing protocols such as static routing, BGP, OSPF, and PIM.
• Understanding of NAT, PAT, PBR, and Layer 2 protocols.
• Familiarity with WAN, LAN, and data center network architectures.
• Experience in network design, operation, or automation.
• Proven experience with multicast configuration.
• Expertise in firewall and VPN technologies, including site-to-site VPN and GRE.
• Knowledge of Unix or Linux operating systems.
• Strong scripting abilities, with Python proficiency being a significant advantage.
• CCNP or higher certification is a plus.
• Systems administration experience is beneficial.
• Understanding of data center installation and cabling standards.
