Full Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures for medium to large enterprises. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of core networking protocols and be proficient with leading enterprise-grade network equipment.
Must-Have Skills and Technologies:
- Minimum 5 years of network engineering experience in medium to large enterprise environments.
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP routing protocols.
- Hands-on experience with network hardware from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent enterprise-grade solutions.
- Proficiency in using network monitoring and diagnostic tools like Wireshark, Netflow, Cisco Prime, Catalyst Center, and vManage (Cisco Viptela SDWAN).
- Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills to resolve complex network issues.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with network automation using Python or Ansible.
- Familiarity with Solarwinds for network management.
- Knowledge of Netflow for traffic analysis.
- Experience with Fortigate firewalls and related management/analytics platforms (FortiManager, FortiAuthenticator, FortiAnalyzer).
- Understanding of MPLS/VPLS technologies.
- Experience with Cellular Gateways and Technologies, such as OpenGear or Cradlepoint.
