Network Engineer

Postiefs Technologies is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join their team in Chennai and Coimbatore, India. This permanent position offers a competitive salary package and requires immediate joiner or a notice period of up to 30 days.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and manage advanced firewalls, including SonicWall, Sophos, and FortiGate.
• Develop and maintain robust security policies, Network Address Translation (NAT), and Virtual Private Networks (VPNs).
• Implement and support Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and Software-Defined Wide Area Networks (SD-WAN).
• Oversee and manage Internet Service Provider (ISP) links, routing protocols, and failover mechanisms.
• Configure and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches to ensure optimal network performance.
• Create and manage Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs), trunk ports, and access ports for efficient network segmentation.
• Perform essential routing tasks and IP subnetting for network design and management.
• Diagnose and resolve complex network and connectivity issues promptly.
• Actively monitor firewall and network logs for security threats and performance anomalies.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in firewall management with SonicWall, Sophos, and FortiGate.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including LAN, WAN, VLAN, Routing, and Subnetting.
• Experience with VPN technologies, including Site-to-Site and Remote Access configurations.
• Solid grasp of Layer 2 switching principles.
• Basic knowledge of SD-WAN configuration and troubleshooting.
• Fundamental understanding of endpoint and network security.
• Familiarity with basic Windows and Linux server administration.
• Preference for candidates with Malayalam speaking abilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Bachelor of Science (BSC), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), or Bachelor of Technology (BTech) are preferred.

Experience:

2-3 years of relevant experience in network engineering.

Salary:

INR 3,00,000 - 4,00,000 per annum (LPA).
