Your focus will be on optimizing existing systems, building robust infrastructure, and driving efficiency through automation. This role requires a proactive individual who can monitor network performance, manage planned maintenance, adjust hardware, and swiftly resolve network connectivity issues to maintain safe and efficient network operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support network architecture design for multi-tenant enterprise environments.
• Troubleshoot and support diverse, multi-vendor, multi-protocol datacenter and backbone networks.
• Maintain and optimize network monitoring systems.
• Ensure consistency and stability within the networking infrastructure.
• Diagnose and resolve network-related issues.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.
• Analyze complex business problems and their relation to enterprise network infrastructure.
• Manage multiple customer needs, prioritize tasks, and oversee daily workload.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and client business units at all levels to meet engagement requirements.
• Update and maintain procedural documentation for team members and delegated tasks.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in network engineering or design within a service provider or enterprise environment.
• Proficiency in network protocols such as IP and related transports, BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF.
• Solid understanding of network hardware internals, including forwarding, filtering, and policing mechanisms.
• Knowledge of application protocols including DNS, IPSEC, HTTPS, and TLS.
• Practical experience with network device firmware management in large-scale enterprise settings.
• Experience developing network automation using languages like Python, Perl, C++, or Bash.
• Familiarity with authentication mechanisms, including PKI.
• Experience with network hardware and software from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, HPE, and Fortinet is preferred.
• Required: CCNA certification.
• Proven understanding of wireless protocols.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
