.Net Application Support Engineer - EMEAL Regional Ops

NTT DATA is seeking a skilled .Net Application Support Engineer to join their EMEAL Regional Operations team in Bengaluru, India. This role involves collaborating with Platform Specialists to understand and translate business and user requirements into technical solutions. Key responsibilities include assisting in the creation of technical documentation and system flowcharts, analyzing business needs to ensure solutions align with requirements, and converting these into detailed system design documents. The engineer will also prepare technical specifications for developers, support the entire system development lifecycle from database creation and coding to testing and deployment, and meticulously document development processes, including usage and security procedures.

The ideal candidate will be adept at identifying and troubleshooting logic or data errors, recommending fixes, and escalating issues as necessary. This position requires supporting application installation, deployment, and production implementation, resolving issues during integration and testing phases, and providing ongoing support for production systems in adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs). You will also be responsible for defining task descriptions for operating and maintaining the implemented solution and participating in post-implementation reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Platform Specialists on business and user requirements.
• Create technical documentation and system flowcharts.
• Analyze business needs and ensure solution alignment.
• Convert requirements into detailed system design documents.
• Prepare technical specifications for developers.
• Support system development (database, coding, testing, deployment).
• Document development processes, usage, and security procedures.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve logic/data errors.
• Assist with application installation, deployment, and production implementation.
• Resolve integration and testing issues; support production systems per SLAs.
• Provide task descriptions for solution operation and maintenance.
• Participate in post-implementation reviews.

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in DevOps software development, with a focus on complex and multidisciplinary projects.
• Excellent knowledge of programming languages such as .Net or Java, with C#, Python, and SQL interface experience.
• Experience with modern frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, .NET, Spring).
• Familiarity with at least one of the following: JavaScript, Azure Functions, Tomcat, Windows Server, GitLab.
• Must have experience with relational & non-relational databases (any database).
• Preferred experience with Agile & Scrum development methodologies.
