Full Job Description
Sopra Steria is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) for their Noida, Uttar Pradesh location. This role involves the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of RPA solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate cloud and Desktop, Power Apps) and UiPath. The ideal candidate will have experience developing secure, high-performance web applications with Power Apps and possess strong technical skills in both Microsoft Power Platform and UiPath, with a particular focus on automating web-based applications.
Key responsibilities include creating custom connectors, workflows, and solutions for Power Automate, and integrating it with Microsoft 365 applications (SharePoint, Outlook, Teams) and external systems via databases and APIs. You will build and automate various application types (Browser, Windows, Citrix) using RPA and other automation tools, and integrate cognitive capabilities into automations using AI features. Development of workflows and custom activities using Vb .Net/C# is required, along with familiarity with languages like Python, JavaScript, or React. The role also entails building and maintaining an automated delivery/deployment model for continuous updates, managing stakeholders throughout the RPA development lifecycle, and working on multiple RPA projects simultaneously.
Additional technical requirements include working knowledge of Web APIs, SharePoint CSOM, SharePoint REST API, and React. Familiarity with Power BI and Power Virtual Agents is advantageous, as is experience in Office 365/SharePoint Online Development and knowledge of Azure AD, Azure AD Apps, Azure App Services, and Web Jobs. You will perform Proof of Concepts for feasibility analysis, work with operational teams during UAT and roll-out, and fix bugs during SIT and UAT. Experience with administrative tasks in Blue Prism environments, maintaining quality and change control processes, and collaborating with project leaders for ongoing improvement are also expected.
The role requires analyzing the technical and functional feasibility of new processes for automation and creating documentation for automation-specific solution designs. Identifying technical infrastructure requirements for Blue Prism and UiPath is also part of the job. The expected total experience is 2-4 years, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in Power Apps, Power Automate, and UiPath. Experience as a Developer, including monitoring and maintenance, is essential. Certification as a Power Platform & UiPath Developer is preferred.
