SolomonEdwards is actively seeking a dedicated Mortgage Processor in St. Louis, MO to join a leading mortgage client. This pivotal role involves comprehensive daily loan reviews, meticulously ensuring the accuracy, quality, and compliance of all loan files. The ideal candidate will excel in performing complex data validation and conducting rigorous daily reviews to uphold adherence to all regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Performing complex data and document validation to guarantee loan accuracy.
• Conducting daily loan reviews to verify that all findings and conditions are met.
• Troubleshooting and managing third-party orders, including title, appraisal, hazard insurance, flood certifications, and credit.
• Completing appraisal eligibility and review tasks with precision.
• Evaluating loan applications for strict compliance with product and regulatory guidelines.
• Addressing and resolving more complex inquiries via calls, emails, and chat from internal and external partners.
• Undertaking other related duties as assigned to support team objectives.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Proven experience in financial services, with specific mortgage industry experience being highly advantageous.
• A solid working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations within the mortgage sector.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience working within loan systems is essential.
