About The Role

Join GE Vernova's Monitoring and Diagnostics (M&D) Center for Gas Power as a Tier 2 Senior Engineer. You will serve as a technical authority in Gas Turbine Combustion Operability and Trip Troubleshooting, analyzing complex thermodynamic data to generate high-value recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tech Domain Ownership: Act as the global SME for combustion system operability (DLN tuning, flame dynamics) and drive fleet-wide root cause analyses.
• Customer Advisory: Provide data-driven recommendations to influence critical operational decisions during forced-outage or trip events.
• Tier 2 Governance: Support frontline teams with escalation support and mentor engineers on diagnostic consistency.
• Analytic Strategy: Lead efforts in developing new diagnostic algorithms and collaborating with data scientists.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Chemical Engineering is required. A minimum of 10 years of experience in gas turbine combustion systems is essential. You must have proven expertise in root cause analysis, PLC trip logs (e.g., MarkVI e Controller), and strong communication skills for risk assessments.
